A look at the wonderful world of Alaska!
For those of us who live in Hawaii, there is a sort of "sisterhood" with the people of Alaska, which can be a little hard to understand but I think it is the love of the aina (land) which binds these two state residents together. The open camaraderie is palatable when you travel to this wild land.

My travels have taken me through the Yukon and over many passes, and I’ve been lucky enough to visit such “wild” places as Dawson, Chicken and Eagle. I have visited the University in Fairbanks and several fisheries and canneries along the way.
I wanted to share with you some of my adventures in Alaska, as well as other things to do when you’re there!
If you’ve been here, I’d love if you’d share your photos and favorite experiences on my Facebook page
, and let me know if you haven’t visited and would like to!
Alaska’s wonderful flora and fauna.
You can see the North Pole or hunter cabins, travel through the national park in Denali and see all the wild life that Alaska is famous for. Watch salmon spawning up stream in the creeks and rivers, if you are lucky you can observe bears eating salmon or grasses by the road or on a hike.

There are multiple places to see bald eagles flying or sitting in a tree watching you. Visit a rescue
sanctuary and see the care of these wounded birds.

Rich history you can learn from and immerse yourself in
Got gold fever? You can learn to pan for gold with your group or alone with an expert at your side to show you where and how to do it. Have a beer or libation at the famous Red Dog Saloon in Juneau or at any of the quaint saloons in any of the towns along the way.
Panning for Gold
In Skagway, you can ride the White railroad in traditional rail cars and see the passages that the gold
miners climbed and carried their supplies and all their worldly goods to “strike it rich”.
I’d be happy to share even more wonderful photos of my adventures to Alaska, or answer any questions you may have about visiting the beautiful state!
Small Towns in Alaska
I do have a special charity cruise experience special to Alaska right now (and it benefits the Hawaii Island Humane Society!), and I can also help arrange charity fund raisers for your organization as well.
Glacier Covered Mountain Passes
If that cruise isn’t your thing, get in touch with me and we’ll work together to see what Alaska can offer you
specifically. After all, my favorite thing about my job is helping put together YOUR dream experience!
