Grand Safari 2015

We start our incredible journey at the famous Victoria Falls, one of Unesco Natural wonders of the world.

Stay at the luxurious, Colonial inspired Livingston Lodge. The setting is magnificent overlooking the Zambezi River and the Falls. .

Our next stop is the Luxury Zambezi Queen River Safari for 3 nights; cruising the Chobe and Zambezi rivers. There is wonderful wildlife viewing from the panoramic windows as you relax on board.

(After disembarking our cruise, depending on flight schedules). we will either fly on to Mfuwe Zambia via Lusaka or overnight one night back at your Livingston hotel and fly the next morning on to our destination South Luangwa National Park known as the valley of the Leopards. This is where walking safaris started. Their Motto being “on a Walking safari you do not just see but you can hear and feel Africa”.

The friendly people of Zambia are always welcoming and anxious to show you their beautiful country.

This is the time of year the Elephants visit Mfuwe Lodge, to eat the ripe Mangos from the tree in the courtyard. I hope we will be lucky and they will be there to greet us on our arrival at the lodge. You may have seen the Smithsonian video on the herd that has come to the lodge for many years.

Each of the bush camps has only four rooms which make it a very personal experience. You will hardly see another vehicle. You will enjoy leisurely walks with your knowledgeable licensed guide and an armed park ranger. Once back in camp relax on your private deck overlooking the plain or lagoon.

We travel back to Mfuwe Lodge, the base for the bush camp company, for our last 3 nights of your safari and hope to have the wonderful experience of seeing the Elephants making their way through lobby to their favorite Mango tree.
